Who can join LRG?
Membership of the Landscape Research Group is open to anyone and everyone who has a general interest in landscape. It is thus open to lay persons, as well as to professionals, students and scholars.
Whatever your involvement with landscape – as an agriculturist, artist, botanist, conservationist, cultural historian, environmental philosopher, geographer, hiker, landscape architect, landscape ecologist, open space activist, land planner, tree hugger, urban gardener or wetland expert… or simply as someone who cares seriously about our natural surroundings – why not become a member of LRG? Find out more about becoming a Member of LRG here, as well as finding out more about the benefits it has to offer.
The LRG is pleased to have the support and encouragement of 148 members based in various institutions in over thirty countries worldwide, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, Latvia, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA.
Benefits of Membership
LRG is concerned with all types and aspects of landscape, from wilderness and cultural landscapes to towns and cities. Its journals, Landscape Research and Landscape Research Extra, address the interests of a variety of disciplines and professions. All members of LRG receive Landscape Research and Landscape Research Extra free of charge, along with a range of periodical mailings about LRG events and other publications.
In addition, membership also provides access to the Members Area of the LRG website, where members will find links that provide them with free access to a selection of Taylor and Francis journals, including:
- Landscape Research
