Our events

We organise and support academic, professional, social and institutional programmes – ranging from seminars and policy meetings to walking-and-working sessions with practitioners and land managers, as well as national and international conferences. This area of our work is coordinated by the following trustees.

We are always seeking a great ideas for conferences and seminars that could be supported by LRG. Events support ranges from £200 to £2000 (or more where match funding is involved). Please contact Gareth Roberts our event coordinator for initial discussion and appropriate paperwork. The Board reviews proposals in May and November each year.


OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY!

In 2017, we are celebrating our 50th anniversary. We wish to mark the occasion by hosting and supporting a number of events. We are inviting all LRG members to propose events and even to organise one or more. We have a budget available to which members can apply for grant funding.
